Initial Response to Losing Earth

Part One of Losing earth depicts the lack of attention and support that global warming had at a time when the issue should have been at the top of every individual in Capitol Hills agenda. Losing Earth part one showed the struggles that individuals Rafe Pomerance and Gordon MacDonald faced while first introducing the issue publicly in the 1970s and how its effects may have catastrophic results for todays world. The most compelling fact that the other Nathaniel Rich focused on particularly was the way in which High-Status Government Officials and other prominent groups/lobbyist approached this topic and the lack of support some had for it.
